ROSO is now a cost-efficient alternative to the visually striking but expensive sleeving of contour containers-roll-on/shink-on.

The term denotes a combination of a Contiroll labeller, a UV glue curing unit and a shrink tunnel. The sole drawback is that shrink-fitting is possible only up to a maximum of 14% film shrinkage so the process is not suitable for heavily contoured containers.

But otherwise this process, newly developed by Krones, offers high visual appeal coupled with low unit price.
