Webtech NI has now become a leader in its field as the largest supplier of flexographic Reel-Fed labels to both the UK and Ireland and is now beginning to supply Reel-Fed labels across Europe.

This has been achieved through strategically recognising the need for major brands to move to plastic labelling from paper labelling and thus into Reel-Fed labelling or Cut & Stack Labelling. Webtech are now also the only dedicated label supplier to the Drinks Industry in Ireland and the UK. We have a strong record of conversion from paper to plastic labelling having changed most of the Water, Soft Drinks and Dairy companies from paper to plastic in the UK & Ireland.

In both the Soft Drinks and Dairy Industries production is continually exposed to moist, wet conditions. Because of this OPP labelling is ideally suited as it is inert to moisture. For the same reason application equipment can often be run at much higher speeds without the possibility of web breaks.

Other benefits include the tensile strength of OPP which allows thinner gauge material to be used giving further cost savings. Add to this more labels per standard reel size and costly production down time is also avoided.
